Up for offer is a highly collectible 1953 Crosley "Dashboard" radio. It has received a complete electrical restoration. An aux input cord has been added to allow for the radio to play any audio or from a Bluetooth device. The paint has a bright shine and the sound is deep and rich. Even the rubber feet have been replaced! A schematic diagram and detailed list of the work done on the radio will be included.
It has been electronically refurbished and the original AM radio sounds great. At checkout, you will have the option of Bluetooth Functionality or FM module included.
Explanation of options
- Base Original AM functionality: The radios original AM circuitry has been thoroughly inspected/refurbished and any out of spec components replaced.
- 3.5mm Aux input cord installed: in addition to the original radio circuitry refurbishing, a 3.5mm aux cord is installed so that an audio player, smartphone or Bluetooth module can be plugged into it. There’s a small microswitch installed, in a discrete as possible location, that allow the user to toggle between the original AM radio signals and the aux input such as Bluetooth.
- Input cord installed with Bluetooth module: Original circuitry refurbished, the 3.5mm aux cord installed and a Bluetooth adapter included. Radio will be able to receive Bluetooth audio.
- Input cord installed with Bluetooth and FM module: Original circuitry refurbished, the 3.5mm aux cord installed and a Bluetooth adapter included. Radio will be able to receive Bluetooth audio and also FM radio stations.
